"Brat manipule les discours politiques comme d'autres manipulent par leur discours politique.
Boucher du sampling créatif, il découpe des bouts de phrases du chef de l'Etat et des autres puis recolle les morceaux à sa sauce. Une déconstruction du discours qui certes n'est pas nouvelle, même dans la forme, mais qui est plutôt rare dans la musique électronique et restera toujours indispensable pour qui se soucie de santé publique.
A la fois critique implacable et caricature outrancière, le Manifeste d'un homme en lutte est une sorte de politique fiction à la Bilal ou Orwell. Il aborde les thèmes de la misère, de la démagogie gouvernementale, de l'Etat sécuritaire et policier ou encore du racisme. Son objectif est de démontrer que le gouvernement actuel de la France, au delà de son discours de façade, renie les valeurs démocratiques au point de se rapprocher des régimes autoritaires du siècle passé.
L'album est construit comme une histoire avec un début, un milieu et une fin. Dans une première partie, le chemin apparaît long et périlleux pour le programme K qui prépare un soulèvement révolutionnaire afin de renverser la dictature en place. Il faut dire que la terreur gouvernementale se montre particulièrement efficace, s'appuyant sur l'art éculé du discours démagogique et sur une police implacable aux pratiques illicites. Dans un second temps, la musique devient extrêmement brutale, furie hardcore metal breakcore. Le combat fait rage entre la police et les insurgés du ghetto mutant, les tronçonneuses répondant aux cocktails molotov. La dernière partie nous laisse dans l'expectative. Quelle est l'issue finale de ce terrible combat ? Il paraît certain que la lutte contre la misère et le mensonge politique est sans trêve et de toute éternité face aux puissants qui abusent de leur position dominante. Pour sa part, Brat milite explicitement pour la comptabilisation du vote blanc aux élections. Cela suffira-t-il pour rompre le joug de l'oppression et rétablir justice et liberté ??!!!
En fait, la confusion entre fiction et réalité laisse place à la libre interprétation de l'auditeur. Chacun doit choisir ses armes et son camp ou subir les conséquences du cataclysme en marche. J'ai un peu froid dans le dos quand même. "
