Bass"Driven presents: Coresteppers V2.0, the Anti-Xmas Edition!
Xmas, December 25th, is one of the most bastardized holidays out there. It has gotten so obscure that it is near impossible to discern where the holiday even comes from. I mean what does the American Santa Clause have to even DO with Jesus Christ in the first place? So lets say screw this consumerist memory of a holiday and let us celebrate the REAL holiday, which is December 21st! The winter solstice, or Yule as they used to call it. This is, and always has been, the REAL holiday. So let us celebrate the darkest day of the year with the darkest, most evil music we can find!

Starring:

Razor Edge (The Sickness) - Razor produces some of the hardest, darkest hardcore out there. Has released several records in Europe and has been making a name for himself over there as well as over here. Come check him out before he goes back to Europe for an indefinite period of time.

nWoDtLeM (The Wickedness) - He's been a major factor in the local "breakcore" scene for years. One or the founding members of the now defunct Here's My Card Records. Originally known for his unique walkman/cassette DJing he has more recently moved into the realm of video. So come check out his seizure inducing videos while dancing to his fun, but evil beats.

Dee J Apathy (The Hardness) - A talented DJ from Mississauga, known for spinning anything from hardhouse to the hardest of the hardcore. We had to search many rocks before we found the one she's been hiding under, but now since we found her, we are dragging her out so she can slay the dance floor for us!
(No known website)

DJ BLNDR (The roughness) - One 3rd of Bass:Driven, and a founding member of Lost Compound, DJ BLNDR is currently one of the hardest working artists in the Toronto "breakcore" scene. Known for her mix of ragga-jungle and dirty, punk-noise breakcore as well as her ability to blend even the most complex of rhythms.

Ninjah ( The Toughness) - Another 3rd of Bass:driven and a newcomer to the Toronto "breakcore" scene. Bringing new energy, a fresh perceptive and an absolute love of all things "core". Expect anything from hard and fast raggacore, to slow and evil dubstep. He will provide us with a blend of his own tunes mixed with some of his favorite hits.

B. (The Darkness) - Little is known about this Toronto local. One might say he's even shrouded in mystery. All that can be said for certain is that he will be providing us with some of the most evil music he can find! This mans very soul has been tainted by dark hands and it shows in his music. Expect nothing short of pure darkness!

Visuals will be provided by our resident VJ Parul Io, and our guest VJ: DissOnance!

show starts at 10pm, and goes till 2am(ish)
It's one of those $5/PWYC parties, so being broke IS NOT AN EXCUSE!!!! Come out and have a good time, no matter how broke you are!

Once again it will be held at Neutral, 349a College St. Entrance is on Augusta!

Monday, December 21st! The darkest day of the whole year! Let's make it even darker!!!!!!
