[Chase 045] BreakTrailz : “Versatile EP”
BreakTrailz is a multi-genres eletronic music producer from the Netherlands. With this "Versatile EP" we will explore the (mostly) Dubstep side of his project. But summing-up this EP to Dubstep only would be really reductive. These 7 tracks also contain influences from Ambient, Breakbeat, Drum'n'bass, IDM and Techno. This results in a very consistent but yet, versatile album too. Enjoy!

Throughout these 23 tracks, the listener is invited to a deep introspection into
The Industrialism's mind and feelings. Using various softwares and plugins blended with real instruments, The Industrialism
combines sharp breakcore constructions with soulful and melancholic melodies, inspired by sad events he had to suffer these last years
in his personnal life. This "Inconsequential Hallucinations" album may sound surprising compared to the previous Chase Records releases
but it was so incredibly beautiful and touching that I thought it deserves to be released and broadcasted to a largest audience.

[Chase 046] Heathcliff Aaldrin : “Loophole”
This is dark & deep Ambient! With "Loophole", Heathcliff Aaldrin, a only 16 years old french artist, delivers 8 incredibly intense ambient tracks, creating what could be the perfect soundtrack for a journey to ethereal and undiscovered worlds. Some of these works can be labelled as space ambient, taking the listener to distant galaxies.
Some other tracks directly come from the deepest abyss where unknown creatures crouch in the darkness. Finally, the remaining tracks explore the abandoned units of a crumbling asylum. You have been warned: this album is sick! And, damned, its author is only 16 years old! Sick, I've told ya!

This month we have 2 new electronic weapons out for free download on Chase Records. The first one is Chase 048 by polish Dark Ambient artist Dark Frequencer, the other one is a crazy Breakcore / Digital Hardcore set from Dj Rioteer (The Netherlands), owner of Crackbeats Records. [Chase 048] Dark Frequencer : “The Utopian World”
Dark Frequencer claims himself to be highly influenced by old school sci-fi and horror movies. With these 23 dark ambient tracks, setting up a deadly nail-biting atmosphere, Darek offers us a wonderful album that sounds like the perfect soundtrack of an horror movie.
"The Utopian World" is a walk through misty marshlands leading to a deserted and, obviously, haunted house where nameless abominations and hideous specters hide in the dark... And guess what : you still want to explore this abandoned place!

[Chase 050] Various Artists : “Lost In The Woods” – 3xCD Electronic Compilation
Here we are! For its 7th anniversary and 50th release in the main catalogue, Chase Records Net Label is proud to release this gathering of 30 electronic beasts covering all the music genres we dig and already released during the past seven years, from deepest melancholic Ambient to the sickest obsessive Noise, including Breakcore, Industrial Hardcore, IDM, Techno, Dark Ambient and so on… The tracklist selection of “Lost In The Woods” was divided into 3 virtual CDs and was built with the idea of creating the soundtrack to illustrate a walk in a dark and deep forest, starting by following this apparently unexplored path you’ve never noticed before and progressively moving forward, through the dense vegetation, surrounded by a thick fog, towards the dark and unknown heart of the woods, slowly reducing your chance to find your way back safe…
This monster is, of course, available for free download, as usual!

[Chase 051] Teknoaidi : “Hiiden Virren Vinguttajat”
Teknoaidi is a Zutsuu side project. This Finnish Hardcore artist drew his inspiration and influences from the Sami culture (native people of Lapland territories in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia) and its history to make this EP. These tribes are heavily marked by their practice of shamanism. With this 5 tracks Ep, Teknoaidi wanted to mix these tribal and shamanic vibes with raw Hardcore / Speedcore beats, reminding the drums of the shamans and leading to a really original result. This 5 tracks are full of energy, able to shake every Hardcore floors with their uptempo beats while keeping a lovely dark and nearly obsessive atmosphere. Let’s call it Shamancore!

ZandoZ Corp.‘s music is dark and Industrial, definitely. ZandoZ Corp.’s music is Breakcore too. ZandoZ Corp.’s music is Ambient as well. But ZandoZ Corp.’s music can also be Speedcore, Techno, Rhythmic Noise or IDM. Well, in fact, ZandoZ Cop.’s music is quite difficult to categorize because we can hear so many influences in his works. With the 7 tracks composing this Babalon’s Reign Ep, you can expect some incredibly rich songs, exploring a wide range of electronic beats, always surrounded by throbbing melodies and nice atmosphere arrangements giving the whole EP a unique signature. Just give it a try, and you’ll see what I mean, for sure!

[Chase 055] SiJ : “Crystal Oscillator”
SiJ is a mainly Industrial / Ambient / Dark Ambient project created in 2011 by Vladislav Sikach from Ukraine. This “Crystal Oscillator” EP contains 7 tracks and showcases a multiple faces electronic beast, started from a downtempo, and almost relaxing, “industrialish“ piece with “Crystal” (feat. Particula) but then evolving to more hostile and harsh territories with “Crystal Oscillator” and its 4 remixes. Those 5 pieces explore a really versatile sound universe, flirt with noisy Hardcore for some of them and then come back to more experimental soundscapes, but always keeping this Industrial mood. Then the EP ends with a nice dark remix of “Attention”, another industrial smasher! Enjoy!

[Chase 056] Swell Sounds : “SK-8”
I’m glad to present the first EP of Swell Sounds, a US based Ambient artist and music student in Seattle. That EP contains 4 atmospheric ambient tunes made with the help of a Sk-8 sampler keyboard. Starting with “Sk-8” an obsessive ambient piece, plunging the listener right into Swell Sounds universe after a few second, then going on with “Eidolan”, the beast of this EP, while the atmosphere is it still keep the overall flavour of the EP, that track is loaded with a relentless flaw of hard beats in its background, giving the track a strong Industrial, and almost Hardcore, feeling. Then Swell Sounds takes us back to calm territories with “Luminance” and “I Feel” two deep and soulful ambient-ish pieces for a nice finish.
