this is a very old but rather good mash up utility
from the university of Bath [UK-1998]

amen

http://www.xelenio.com/accessdenied/amen1b.zip

use this then bring in the loops you create into ableton
with instajungle & beat-repeat thru a midi controller
or just assigning your keyboard to trigger stuff

only problem is it works only with mono but hell!

weeeee!

Been using Reason for a while now, but getting tired of it's limitations...
CoolEdit/Audition for sample editing, ReCycle for REX loops etc.

Recently installed Renoise, cuz I've been reading so much about it and how most Breakcore producers use it Razz

Anybody got/know some tutorials? Very Happy

been on cubase since day 1. No other DAW seems to satisfy my needs. Only use live for well... live!! Shocked And the cutting and wave editing can be done in cubase as well, never felt the need to have a external app for that. But sadly cubase can be very unstable if you mess around with a lot of non-commercial 3rd party vst/vsti's.

Hey people!!
I love record esotic radio stations from Shoutcast (vlc) directly in RENOISE (via JackControl) on my Ubuntu platform..
This is the best way to canalize the largest number of sounds in a project....

try it and comment here..
